Louisiana’s Area Agencies on Aging

Louisiana’s aging network is overseen by the Governor’s Office of Elderly Affairs (GOEA). Services are delivered through a network of 34 Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) and 64 Parish Councils on Aging (COAs). While many parishes have their own dedicated agency, several regional AAAs coordinate services for multiple parishes.
