Rhode Island’s Single-District Aging Network

Rhode Island is unique because it is a single-district state for aging services. Unlike larger states with dozens of regional agencies, the Rhode Island Office of Healthy Aging (OHA) manages the entire state’s aging network directly. The primary entry point for all services — from home-delivered meals to Medicare counseling — is a statewide resource network known as The POINT. For all senior and disability assistance in the Ocean State, your first call should be to The POINT at (401) 462-4444.
